Next Click (start-up) consists of a conglomerate of websites producing revenue via an online pay per click advertising model across over 1000 websites.

Fish Click Online Stores: Founder and Director, Morehead City, NC 02’ – 08’
Fish Click (start-up) consists of a conglomerate of websites selling fishing tackle and outdoor related goods directly over the internet. Sites include: BuyTackle.com, JoeShades.com, ReelZone.com, Softbaits.com, etc.  Duties:  marketing and branding; selecting core employees; directing the development and deployment of websites, ad sites, and web services; selection and management distribution systems; develop and deploy effective product distribution systems; develop and implement customer service processes.  Fish Click is currently undergoing the acquisition process. Successfully grew the company from a handful of products on one website to a multi-site company carrying 60,000 sku’s with a fully operational affiliate program with the ability to launch a new store in less than 30 minutes.

ChoicePoint:  Vice President eCommerce, Marketing, Atlanta, GA 00’ – 01’
ChoicePoint delivers comprehensive credentialing, background screening, authentication, direct marketing and public records services to businesses and nonprofit organizations. Worked directly with the VP of Business Acquisitions. Duties: analyze prospective acquisitions and data sources; report on ability to create new products and merge existing products into the ChoicePoint product line-up.  Once acquired, coordinated the integration of the products and services; also coordinated the development and marketing strategies for new products.  Company was recently sold for 4.1 billion dollars.

Fraud Defense Network: Executive Director, Omaha, NE 94’ – 00’
Fraud Defense Network consists of a conglomerate of websites and services related to fraud detection.  Duties:  actively sold and managed memberships to Fortune 500 companies, Law Enforcement Divisions, Prosecutors and Governmental Agencies; participate as a speaker in anti-fraud conferences; select core employees; direct the development and deployment of new products, websites and web services; heavily involved in all marketing and branding; develop and integrate customer service systems; actively participate in anti-fraud associations; worked directly with FBI, police and investigators to develop new products to meet their needs. 

Physicians Mutual Insurance Company: Business Systems Project Manager, Omaha, NE 89’ – 94’
Physicians Mutual offers health, long-term care, dental, life and medicare supplement insurance, mainly marketed via direct mail offerings.   Duties: analyzed current business processes and systems; recommended new processes mainly through the use of technology to streamline existing processes, developed roi proposals; presentation of proposals to company executive committee; coordinated the various business departments (steering committees) for implementation. Using Deloitte-Touche project management theories, managed the projects and team members to implement new processes and technology.  For 18 months after PMIC, was contracted by PMIC for emergency consulting as a Corporate Troubleshooter.  Quickly analyze the situation, gather team members, and implement the most expeditious solution possible to ensure proper business flow.
